In a typical Chinese Wedding Dinner,
it is usually an 8-9 course meal

The first one is usually a
Cold Cut Platter (拼盤)
which usually a plate with 4 or 5 dishes (usually 4)
representing the 4 seasons (of summer, fall, winter, spring)
perhaps it is like a bit of an appetizer
...
While the second dish is most likely a
bowl of Shark Fin Soup (魚翅湯)
but many will replace it with
Braised Sea Cucumber (海参) &
Golden Soup with Lobster or
Sezchuan Hot & Spicy Soup etc
...
I did not take photos of the usual dishes or
Duck (鴨), Chicken (鸡), or Prawn which are
usually part of the 9-10 course meal
(and by the way the TV is just showing the Karaoke
or the Wedding photos, not that I know of that
they screen TV programs in Weddings !!)

Some includes Braised Pork (红烧肉), Others
may Roasted Pork (烧肉 or 烧猪) or even
...
A whole usually Steam Fish (蒸魚) or Prawn (蝦) is an
important menu item
I have not tasted whole Lobsters (龙虾) yet in a
Chinese Wedding

with Fried rice (炒飯) and the dessert (甜点)
