a new bread of camera
for the size of a compact but the price of a DSLR

I have been using a Nikon DSLR for 2 years
and really have been thinking about a second
camera which is a compact (certainly not the Nikon 1)

I would really like to be able to carry around
that compact most of the time as I cannot do with the DSLR,
So something like the Canon S100, Nikon P9100, Lumix LX5
have been in my mind, 
or any camera you can suggest
...

as British rule ended,
yet remnants of KL's colonial past remain.

This particular building is now a coffee shop
don't be fooled by what you see,
I waited for almost all the customers to leave
before I took some photographs of the interior,
this place is always full at certain hours of the day
...




I do think that it does serves up
one of the best "Black Coffee" in town
...




I could not resist taking a shot when 
going down the stairs after finishing my coffee
but I was stopped immediately by what seems
a fat man (perhaps the shop owner)
who told me off that
"Malaysian don't like to be photograph"
and
his customers are usually policemen and lawyers
...






Well, with policemen and lawyers everywhere
I think I better just keep my camera
on the cup of coffee I am taking
...




Next time, you are in Kuala Lumpur,
try going into one of these "Old" Colonial buildings, 
you may find a different experience of the city
...
