Morning at Brinchang

Nov 26-27, 2010
Brinchang, Cameron Highlands ...

The town of Brinchang is located some 70 kilometres to the northeast of Tapah which is
accessible from the old Tapah - Cameron Highlands route, passing by Ringlet, Habu and Tanah Rata.
Today, it is much better to use the new access road from Simpang Pulai to get to Brinchang
through Kg Raja and Blue Valley. The route may take longer but as the exit to Simpang Pulai is near Ipoh but we found that this road is very much easier as it is much less winding then the old road ...

We reached Brinchang town at 2pm and just the right time to check-in to the hotel,
 Brichang town as seen from our hotel room ...

Early next Morning, I visited the  Fruits & Vegetables Market at Brinchang
while my family is still in bed, lots of variety and reasonably priced (I think) ...
第二天一大早,当我的家人仍然在床时;

fresh fruits, vegetables are brought in to the town by these four wheel drive vehicles
from nurseries and farmlands all over Cameron Highlands ...

A mosque is typical of all towns in Malaysia, however;
further down the road, there is also an Indian temple and a Chinese Temple ...
清真寺是典型每一个马来西亚的城镇都有的,但是;

I think there is a little bit of Tudor Architectural style even in these new shops  ...

The town is noticeably bustling with construction activities.
Adjoining hill slopes are being developed into commercial outlets of
hotels, shops or apartments.
