Waterfall Therapy

Waterfall Therapy

I would rather listen to the sounds of waterfalls then the sounds of a noisy crowd ...

Because it is really like a band of musicians playing a consistent melody and tune
all the time ...

unlike the disorganized noises from a crowd of people ...

I would rather look at the placements of rocks orchestrated by nature ...

rather then the chaotic crowd in a busy street ...

Looking and Listening to the
Waterfull is definitely more therapeutic
then
whatever you see and here in a busy street of a city ...

Natural Charm

Natural Charm

In this jungle of Ulu Yam, it is so happy to be greeted by ferns of all types ...

as they seem be able to grow just anywhere when conditions are right ...

They welcome you with their incredible natural state of design ...

Seems to be always waiting for your visit ...

Expressing with welcoming gestures like this ...

Words are not needed to praise them as they are always there waiting
for us to explore their beauty and natural charm ...

Green is beautiful

Green is beautiful

Do you know why American Money is Green ?
American currency became green in 1929. Before that time, it seems that it was
printed in black with tinted flecks of color. A fact known to counterfeiters who
raised the printing without disturbing the ink. Tracy R. Edson (the founder of the
American Bank-note Company) purchased a special type of ink that would not
photocopy, and resistant to elemental changes.and it was green.
The American Department of Treasury simply continued that practice ...

Do you have green stress ?
According to the New York Times, there has been an increasing amount of people
that report anxiety and stress because they feel like they are never as green as
they would like to be. And, believe it or not, such anxious thoughts about the
environment can have negative impacts on your emotional state, your health,
and your relationships ...

Why are red apples sweet and green apples sour?
I have always thought that was true, but until I tried some really sweet green apples lately
and tasted some sour red apples ...

Is Green good for the eyes ?
I remember when I first started to wear glasses at the age of 8, and for 40 years;
I have been hearing people saying about looking at the green to help ease the eyes.
The doctors also keep on saying about the same sort of thing ...

But today, green was not just good for my eyes but also good for my camera ...

Neverending flow

my 60 minutes here was most enjoyable ...
the waterfalls of Ulu Yam are beautiful ...

15 seconds at f/20, FL=18mm, WB=Auto
my tripod is standing on 3 separate rocks ...
not the easiest long exposure shot I used to on flat ground ...
it is very slippery here ...
I think some of the areas are at least 5 - 6 feet deep ...

15 seconds at f/20, FL=22mm, WB=Auto
my tripod is on the water for this one, however
as it is standing on sand; it was a bit tricky ...

Ulu Yam Jungle

Long drive from KL and not the easiest hike for my age ...

we don't see anyone else ...
just us and nature ...

Nor do we see any signs for people came here before ...
Everything here is just nature ...

There are no plastic cups or Styrofoams seen anywhere
and I think the public has not found this place yet ...

Let us leave it that way ...

Back to nature

Ulu Yam is a main town in Selangor, Malaysia.
It is famous for its lor mee (or noodles in thick soya gravy),
and is especially popular among residents of nearby Kuala Lumpur.
Ulu Yam is also a transit point to the Genting Highlands Resort after Batang Kali.

Ulu Yam is also well known by its natural surroundings, lots of bamboos, and
some very beautiful waterfalls ...

as you walk into its jungles,
you will be greeted with many unique plants ...

the presence of natures abstracts are everywhere ...

a walk into the forest is always refreshing ...
and my friends calls this
 the
secret garden of Ulu Yam ...

Tree of life 生命之树 ...

Took some time alone on a Saturday morning driving back to Nature ....

I think sometimes it is good to be away from the city ....

from your colleagues and friends ...

and maybe your wife and children too ...

That is what exactly I did on a Saturday morning, driving alone away from the
city of Kuala Lumpur to an outskirt small town
called Ulu Yam (乌鲁雪兰莪) just about an hour or less from the bustling city of KL.

The entire driving took me 3 hours with just a single photo shot of these trees ....
I did more thinking then shooting today !
