On Petaling Street 茨厂街 ...

China Town - Petaling Street
 (茨厂街 or "Chi-Cheong-Kai")
... Petaling Street
is particularly famous for its all-day parade of stalls,
that sell imitation goods of all sorts ...

However, nothing beats the unique characters of street vendors and people on this street ....

Or such as this men fixing a window of the old shop lots in this street ....

Early morning, you are greeted with foreign workers preparing for
the many stalls that make-up Petaling street which will run all day until mid-night ...

I saw a report few days ago that there are more then 2 million foreign workers in the country and many are in the city of Kuala Lumpur, perhaps near to this street ...

Petaling Street is well known for its "street branded-name" products of all kinds,
however it does not exclusively offer such pirated products.
Haggling is a common sight here and the place is usually crowded with locals as well as tourists.

The area has dozens of restaurants and food stalls, serving local favourites such asHokkien mee, ikan bakar (barbecued fish), asam laksa and curry noodles. Traders here are mainly Chinese but there are also Indian, Malay, and Bangladeshi traders.

Nevertheless, I don't come here for the things you can buy but the characters I can photograph ...
